Povjerenstvo za ravnopravnost spolova Skupštine Brčko distrikta BiH bilo je danas, zajedno s Udrugom BH novinara gostitelj debate o nasilju u obitelji koja je organizirana u okviru projekta „Isključimo nasilje - Mediji protiv nasilja nad ženama“ koji se realizira uz potporu Ureda UN Women u BiH i Švedske međunarodne agencije za razvoj i suradnju (Sida).
Cilj današnje debate bio je razmjena iskustava i praksi novinara i predstavnika institucija u oblasti izvješćivanja o rodno zasnovanom nasilju i iznalaženje djelotvornijih oblika suradnje i razmjene informacija s institucijama i civilnim sektorom u oblasti zaštite žrtava nasilja.
Lidija Ljubojević, predsjedateljica skupštinskog Povjerenstva za ravnopravnost spolova govorila je o aktivnostima na donošenju zakona o zaštiti od nasilja u obitelji.
- Očekujem da će ovaj zakon uskoro biti upućen Skupštini i da će on u siječnju konačno, nakon dvije godine, biti usvojen. Sam zakon neće riješiti problem nasilja u obitelji ali će pomoći da se stanovništvo osvješćuje i takve slučajeve prijavljuje nadležnim institucijama - rekla je Ljubojevićeva. Ona je dodala da će donošenjem ovog zakona Brčko distrikt uhvatiti korak s okruženjem, posebno entitetima u kojima su ovi zakoni već na snazi.
Halid Emkić, stručni savjetnik za odnose s javnošću Policije Brčko distrikta izjavio je da je za devet mjeseci ove godine zaprimljeno 15 prijava iz oblasti kaznenih djela protiv braka, obitelji i omladine i da se u 14 slučajeva radilo o nasilju u obitelji.
- U svim slučajevima policijski službenici su postupili po odredbama Zakona o kaznenom postupku Brčko distrikta BiH i poduzeli nužne mjere i radnje s ciljem dokazivanja ovih kaznenih djela - rekao je Emkić.
Statistički podatci Tužiteljstva Brčko distrikta BiH pokazuju rast slučajeva ovog kaznenog djela. Samir Beganović, glasnogovornik Tužiteljstva rekao je da je za deset mjeseci ove godine podneseno 19 prijava za kazneno djelo nasilja u obitelji, prijavljeno je isto toliko osoba, a deset optužnica je podignuto i potvrđeno. On je najavio izmjene i dopune Zakona o kaznenom postupku Brčko distrikta BiH.
- Pored općih mjera sigurnosti koje već postoje uvele bi se određene mjere koje bi bile usmjerene na zaštitu osoba žrtava nasilja u obitelji. Slijedit ćemo dobre primjere u rješenjima koja postoje u entitetima BiH i vjerujem da će u prvom kvartalu iduće godine ovaj zakon biti urađen - rekao je Beganović.
O problemu nasilja u obitelji sa aspekta struke govorila je Devla Baraković, neuropsihijatar ističući da iako nemaju statističke podatke u liječničkoj praksi bilježe slučajeve nasilja u obitelji. Ona je ukazala na osjetljivost izvješćivanja o ovoj temi s ciljem zaštite žrtava nasilja.
Admir Kadrić, urednik Radio Brčkog i predstavnik Udruge BH novinara istakao je da je veoma bitno da mediji pišu provjerene informacije, da ne pišu senzacionalistički i da sve slučajeve sa sudskim epilogom isprate do kraja i tako utječu na to da se smanji broj slučajeva nasilja u obitelji.
